Hello, I'm Jody.
A multidisciplinary creative: creative direction, content Strategy and development.
I’m a problem solver dressed in the paint-tattered clothes of a creative, i love bringing ambitious, complex, beautiful, and silly ideas to life.
I’ve had the pleasure of working on a range of brands and products, from a Fortune 2 company to startups as employee number 1, working in a founders living room. I’ve helped brands launch a social presence, write strategy playbooks and develop original content series. I’ve pitched ideas to CMOs and A-list celebrities alike.
Managing multi-millions in annual production budgets, i’ve led strategy and shaped creative for TV Commercials and TikTok, audio ads, and album launches. I’ve built run of shows for live events, and even trained one of my mom’s favorite actors how to go live on Instagram when the world was on pause.
I’ve seen my work in airports ✈️, the opening screen of TikTok📲, and even on television 🥹, but one of my favorite projects was when i asked our CMO–what if we claim #WorldStorytellingDay as our favorite holiday? And would you believe this all got started with just a little 35mm camera 📸.
Speaking of small beginnings, i’m most electric when generating little seeds of crazy ideas, and uttering sentences like, “wouldn’t it be so fun if…?”, and then chasing the worthy ones, nurturing them from fledgling to full grown.
My favorite work these days is concepting for content series–and while i’ve got a special affection for YouTube, i’m no stranger to any social platform, and am delighted at opportunities to explore new forums.
I like pouring over the numbers to find out what works, and crave the mixing of mediums–the spillover space where designers and photographers, musicians and dancers, novices and experts, poets and mathematicians and neuroscientists and athletes meet. I’m known for asking questions, sometimes to really cool people.
